Description

The Ernest Cook Trust, a leading educational charity dedicated to fostering a love for the natural world, is seeking a two dynamic Trustees to join our Board.

At The Ernest Cook Trust, we believe in the transformative power of nature for young people, and how hands-on learning experiences in nature are crucial for the development of children and young people.

Our charity owns over 9,000 hectares of diverse landscapes across the UK. As landowners, farmers, funders and deliverers of Outdoor Learning activities, we are inspiring more young people to achieve better life outcomes as we pursue our vision to transform young lives through an environmentally engaged society.

Following the appointment of a Learning-Focused Trustee in 2024, we are now looking for two additional Trustees to join our Board. One Trustee will support us in shaping our long-term strategic land management and the second will bring experience in growing and developing organisations.

This position offers the opportunity to work alongside a passionate and dedicated team, with the satisfaction of knowing your contributions are making a real difference.

If you are ready to inspire the next generation and champion Outdoor Learning, we would love to hear from you. If you wish to have an informal discussion about the opportunity, please contact our retained advisors:
